Gestetner’s CP6346 Delivers Professional-Quality Print Solution for High Volume Environments

Gestetner, a leading provider of Total Document Solutions, announces the CP6346 CopyPrinter – offering a blend of superior image quality and high speeds, ideal for Central Reprographic Departments (CRDs) and other environments seeking a cost-effective solution for medium to high-demand print runs

The latest addition to Gestetner’s range of High Volume solutions, the CP6346 employs high quality master and ink technology for excellent image reproduction, including infill, fine text and halftones.   Coupled with very fast print speeds of 7,200 sheets per hour and true 600dpi resolution,  the CP6346 delivers professional results from a compact and competitively-priced A3 CopyPrinter.

Network connectivity adds further productivity advantages to Gestetner’s latest CopyPrinter.   The RPCS print driver, which can also be combined with optional PostScript module and Hard Disk Drive (HDD) unit, allowing users to print high-quality documents direct from the central network, whenever required.   This connectivity also enables the CP6346 to receive and print files from remote locations, delivering additional benefits for organizations with branch offices or large campuses.

The CP6346 includes a large, interactive control panel, making it easy to access this functionality.   This touch-sensitive LCD display guides users through print jobs, reducing errors and wastage.     

Gestetner’s latest CopyPrinter has also been designed with the environment in mind.   Low power consumption leads to reduced electricity bills, whilst the ink technology means zero emissions and no need for protective clothing or special handling when creating the master.   This eco-friendly focus also extends to the CP6346’s ability to print on recycled paper, offering further benefits.  

A range of valuable options further boost the productivity available from the CP6346.   A large capacity paper tray accommodates 3,000 sheets, reducing downtime for increased efficiency in high volume environments.   Gestetner’s TCIIR unit, an additional option, enables two-colour documents to be printed simultaneously for increased print speeds and even greater productivity. 

Advanced paper-handling features, such as the enhanced paper feed design, provide accurate paper alignment and image registration, ensuring professional quality standards are maintained.   Gestetner’s CP6346 is also able to print on a wide variety of paper stocks, including envelopes, offering further flexibility advantages.

Gestetner’s range of CopyPrinters incorporate advanced duplicating technology which offers fast, high quality and high volume image duplication solutions to help users manage their printing requirements. Gestetner’s CopyPrinter product range currently offers varied use of paper sizes and paper types along with resolution choice from 300 dpi to up to 600 dpi, all at an exceptional speed of at least 135 pages per minute.
